Lol I failed when I tried to put that aloe vera in the bottle. Don't mind me 😂😅. But this leave in conditioner really leaves my hair nice n smooth. It's Hella important now that the Swedish winter is on its way. I'm already starting to feel how my hair is changing 😮. I think we all can relate to that hun. Moisture moisture n luving n caring. http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, Sweden4 months check up. Well well.. I do see some change in my hair.. This is why it's so important to take photos, photos N photos. Sometimes u just become blind. N it feels like ur hair don't change n you just start thinking negative things about it. I had one of those weeks last week lol. So comparing these two photos really made me feel good. This shows that I'm doing something right 😂. Don't give up my beautiful people . Patience is really the key. N all hair journeys are different. Let's grow together n support one n other. Big up!
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenIt's not just about hair. It's so much deeper than that. For me, my hair has been a big part of my growth. Being able to walk w pride N dignity in my natural hair, in a society were they want u to look in a certain way. For me.. That's Hella brave. I remember when I felt so unsure N uncomfortable with my hair in its natural state. I always felt prettier when I was straightening it. I was always so sad when it was time to wash the hair bcos I knew that dat fro was coming back. Its really sad when I think about how mean I was to myself. Now I feel so comfortable in my hair that when I do decide to straightening my hair, I won't do it just to feel prettier or better. I will just do bcos I can. BLESS. teamnaturalnaturalsbelikenigerianembraceurhairmovementafricanafrohairhairjourney
JasmineJasmine2017-08-19Okey so this video really me feel good. I can really see how my hair has changed. It looks so more fuller N compact than a few months ago.. Feels really good to see that my crown is looking N feeling healthier. Think that me trimming my ends helped some to. In this video I just used the homemade leave in conditioner n sealed w some Argan oil.
Patience n getting to know ur hair are for me the 2 main things when it comes to hair transition. N ofc.. Stop comparing ur hair to others hair. I know it's hard but u just gotta accept that we have different hair textures. Some people have 2 different hair textures. No biggie. As long as u have ur own relationship to ur hair, u gon be good hun.
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenSaturday.. Oh okay so I wanted to do some homemade products. So I tried to do this homemade leave in-conditioner. Like the last one I did. But instead of just using water I used 1 half a water n 1 half coconut water. Just to give some more moisture. Let's see how my hair thinks about it. My hair liked the one I did before so my baby Betta luv this one oh😍👍 embraceurhairnaturalsbelikenigerianhomemadeafricanafrohairmovementluvthemcurls
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenI'm in a vibe right now. I don't know about u guys but sometimes i just feel like, what ever good things i do w my hair, i still don't really get satisfied with what I get. I think that sometimes I just compare my hair w other people's hair N all the "hair goals" on Instagram. BIG NO NO. I know now that dat can be really dangerous for u lol. I just gotta remember that we are all different, we all have different hair textures n we all have different hair journeys. So I've been reading this book that my mom let me loan. It's a couple of years old but it's so interesting. It's a book about hair. All kind of textures. From type 1 to type 4. I wanted to really learn about my type of hair. It's so easy that u listen too much on YouTube n Instagram. I think it's good to invest some time N learn more in other ways to😬. But that's just me tho. Just want wanted to share this bcos I know that some can relate to it. And it's Okey. We've all been there done dat. But remember we are all different n don't be too hard on ur hair. 👑
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenI know that this weekend I will be too busy with work so it's gon be wig week this week lol. Well for me it works really good. Just letting my hair rest. Did a easy protective hairstyle. N put that wig on. Easy n simple. Like I said in the previous video, personally I just do this wig week for maximum 6 days. 🙏
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenOkey today I wanted to share a video on how powerful AVC is (apple cider vinegar) . I LUV it. I always use it when I feel like my hair scalp is dry or itchy, also called dandruff lol. No shame in that. I think it's good to show the flaws to. I just want to share n show that there are some easy things u can do by urself to solve ur problem. This may not work for everyone but hey at least give it a try 🙏. Lol I got so frustrated about my heat damage to that I have in some places so I just spontaneously cut em off. Shai 😂. luvthemcurlsmovementnaturalsbelikenigerianembraceurhairafrohairafricanhairjourney
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenSomething that I like to take advantage of before hairfix n chill (wash day) lol! Is doing these kind of hairstyles. I just like to fluff it up real good n nice n then I just used a strap (choker) n a rubber band. N some Bobbi pins. I wantedlike a real big donut look but without using a donut. Not too bad hun 👑. teamnaturalnaturalsbelikenigerianembraceurhairafrohairmovementafricanhairjourneynobadvibeshun
JasmineJasmine2017-08-01Okey so I've been lazy w my hair these couple of days lol but hey this is how my hair is after 4 days w just curl cream n dat homemade hair gel. Like I haven't done anything with it after that. Shai, look at them curls tho. Go n do urself a favor N try that hair gel. So easy to do to 😱😍. teamnaturalnaturalsbelikenigerianhomemadeafricanafrohairmovementembraceurhairhttps://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e15/p640x640/20478456_486654355028872_8212006203283210240_n.jpg2017-08-01
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenSimplicity. Yeah. Sometimes is nice when u don't really need to do that much to ur hair. Sometimes I just like my hair in its natural state. No defined curls. No nothing. Just simple. BUT this is just me, I do like to change the hair n luv that u can change ur hair into Different textures. But sometimes u just want it simple 🙋♀️. I used 3 simple products. The basic. Aloe vera. Homemade hair gel. N jojoba oil. To seal all that moisture. Simplicity. Yup. Remember dat 👑. luvthemcurlsmovementnaturalsbelikehomemadenaturalnigeriaafricanafroembraceurhairembraceit
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenOkey so today was the day Jasmine trimmed her own ends by herself for the first time. I was Hella nervous. No lie. It's still quite sensitive when it comes to cutting my hair. But hey healty hair before length. I still have some heat damage n especially at the end of my hair so Hey it was about time. Well u can't really see that big of a change but I could feel after I cut the ends that my hair felt much thicker N it was so much easier to detangle the hair. And u can see that I didn't even cut that much. I just trimmed the ends. I would recommend doing this every 3 months, just to keep that fro nice n fresh 😍
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenSo the picture to the left is how my hair was i March. The one to the right is how my hair was in June. 3 months between. Its not a big change but u can see that my hair looks more thicker N more bouncy than the first pic.
It's a nice feeling when u can see a Lil change in ur hair. Sometimes u don't really see it I real life, so plz my peeps, don't forget to take pictures during ur journey so u can look back n compare 🙋♀️. teamnaturalnaturalsbelikenigeriaafricanembraceurhairafrohaircurlyhairmovementhairjourney
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenI'm back lol. Well this whole week, I'm been rolling w the protective style I did n wig. no shame in dat fam. I knew I would be working a lot so I wouldn't have been able to put any attention in my hair. So I just put a wig on, that I did by myself btw lol all proud 😂 n a scarf on.
I have never really been a person that use wig on a regular basis. But hey my hair felt so soft n nice after a whole week with the wig N protection. Like that's a good option when u know u won't be able to maintain the hair N give that hair luv.(but personally i would just do this for 1 week maximum) I was scared my edges would damage but I made sure I used the homemade edge controller.
Well hey now the fro is back n I need to trim them ends😩..(this weekend project) That's Hella emotional for me 😂. luvthemcurlsmovementafricanembraceurhairnaturalsbelikeafronigeriagrowing
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenSo today I felt that my scalp needed a hot oil treatment. My scalp is quite sensitive N gets dry,so it need that's extra moisture.
I used coconut oil, olive oil N small shea butter for carrier oils.
I used tea tree oil n peppermint for essential oil. I personally like N think that these oils works for my scalp best. N it leaves a nice mint smell afterwards to 😀😀. 1. I usually play around N try different protective styles before I start. I feel that I save time n I get a better vision on what hairstyle I want. Well that's just me 🙋♀️. 2. I section my hair. Wash it with a good shampoo that is kind N not cruel to your hair. I used this cheap scalp massage thing during the shampooing. 2 in 2.u get the massage n ur scalp gets cleaned.
3. Section the hair, sprayed hot water on the scalp, for the pores to open up. Applied the oil. Had it in for 30-40 min.
4. Rinsed it out. I used the african black soap w citrus only. No shampoo. That's why i luv the african soap. It cleans ur scalp n hair without drying it out. And then some jojoba conditioner. Rinse that out to with cold water as a final step.
JasmineJasmine2017-07-10Oh okay so we on it. . That texture tho. It's a good sign. That means I'm getting there lol. These small things can really change my whole day. http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenSo today I chose to do the "maybe u should put ur hair in a bun instead" hairstyle lol just made that up, but that was literally the mood I was in.
1. Sprayed my hair w (cold) water mixed w some tea tree oil.
2. Finger comb it. Some curl cream n then seal it with argan oil.
3. Let it air dry a little.
4. Take that afro comb n give ur hair some volume 😍
There u go, no bad vibes hun

JasmineJasmine2017-07-03Here's my wash routine.
1. I wash it w schampo.
2. Apply the homemade mask. Let it sit for 30 min.
4. Apple cider vinegar treatment. ( it's so good for dry scalp N dandruff. I CAN'T do my wash days without ACV. )
5. I don't really like the smell after the vinegar so I just rinse w some african soap w a citrus touch. Jusy like a final little step. Not for cleaning the scalp or so. Just to give my hair a nice smell. And that's why i luv this african soap. It doesn't dry out my hair.
6. After that i just put some leave in N seal it w oil N then did two flat twist. Easy nah.

JasmineJasmine2017-06-29Lol the days before hair wash I usually just play around w mi hair. Trying different easy to do hair styles. In this video I used cold water N tea tree oil and sprayed that directly on my scalp. Like I said before my scalp n hair really goes with dat. N like Always. I massage my scalp to get that blood circulation going. N then i just played w different styles that I can have without really doing much to it. Perfect to wear the days before hair wash day, when the curls ain't on point lol embraceurhairnaturalsbelikeluvthemcurlscurlyhairafrohair
http://instatbt.com/Place/stockholm-sweden/213094275Stockholm, SwedenOne thing that my edges appricate is this homemade edge controller w peppermint. Peppermint stimulate the hair scalp = hair growth. N then I just use a Old tooth brush to help "massage" the scalp. This edge controller is too die for. Smells so good, N it's all natural stuff in ofc 🙏🙋 embraceurhairnaturalsbelike, curlygirl, natural
JasmineJasmine2017-06-23Funny fact Friday :
