His excuse being his Mum brought him chocolate and this time of year after summer many people lose motivation and can't be bothered to train.
In my opinion approaches like this is exactly what is wrong with the fitness and diet industry. Being all or nothing is what leads to unhealthy relationships with food and binge eating patterns.
Anyone can follow a plan for 6-12 weeks. But what's the plan after? The secret to long time sustainable results will always be about habit change and moderation not exclusion of food groups.
Rather than cutting out foods learn to include them within a healthy diet. People glamourising these quick fixes and making money out of people's desperation pisses me off. Lean in 15 minutes until you fancy a binge out... What's your thoughts?

The kind where your heart bursts out of your chest. You know the one you didn't know you wanted but when it happens you realise it's what you always wanted? When I first started my teacher training it was never really to teach others but to teach myself. I wanted to learn as much as I could about a practice that changed everything. But teaching others? How could I do that if I was too afraid of being the center of attention, if I was afraid to speak up, yet alone speaking in front of larger groups of people? And yet here I find myself, a few hours before I teach a group of strangers how to link movement with breath, how to find balance between effort and ease, strength and flexibility. I'm nervous yes but excited. And that's a huge transformation. See the real transformation of yoga is invisible to the naked eye because it is so much deeper than just physical transformation. It turns anxiety into patience, fears into love, self doubts into self confidence.
