http://instatbt.com/Place/glen-tanar/191248217585017Glen TanarHi folks 🙌🏼 It's been such a busy few days I haven't had a moment to let you know what I've been up to 🙄 Walks down by the River Dee, a visit to Ballater and chasing RED squirrels 🐿🐿 (too quick for me don't worry) are just a few things that have kept me busy. We had a great walk 🐾 from our cottage this morning up the Firnmouth Road which is an ancient pass used by Edward I and Marquis of Montrose in 1296 and 1303 folks! Really! This is me standing on a stone on the route commissioned by a previous owner of Glen Tanar Estate in the mid 19th Century. Bit of a history lesson friends but I get quite excited by it all being a Lord 🤴- as you can imagine 🐶🐾 Happy Saturday 🍁 scotlandhistoryriverdeedogwalksaturdayweekenddachshunddogsofinstagramlord
Aneta FrackowskaAneta Frackowska2017-10-21The Beistegui Ball in Venice on the night of September 3, 1951.
One critic likened it to a ‘moral indecency’; those who were there were so consumed by the opulence and theatricality that they had no reason to care. The night in question -September 3, 1951, in Venice - has gone down in history as the party of the century and its host was Don Carlos de Beistegui, an aesthete of some repute who used his riches to keep the reality of war and sacrifice at bay.
Don Carlos de Beistegui, or Charlie, as he was known to his circle of intimates (of whom there were few), was one of a small group of cosmopolitan plutocrats who dominated European high- life in the years between the second world war and the beginning of the Jet Set era. They swept into mid 20th-century Europe on a tide of money. Their fortunes, built on the backs of labourers in Central and South America, may have come from unpleasant and malodorous beginnings in silver mines or the exploitation of centuries-old deposits of guano, but they dissipated them in Europe with style and liberality. In the first half of the 20th century the words ‘South American millionaire’ had much the same ring to them as ‘Russian oligarch’ or ‘Chinese billionaire’ have today. thebeisteguiballvenicefashionpalacehoutecoturecoturedressextravagantantiquevintagestylejetsetcosmopolitanhistoryopulenceteatricalhostluxuryluxurylifestylethefiftiesdoncarlosdebeisteguiinteriorsinspirationdecorationmaskenbalhttps://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/22709180_1936830949976513_3856009281727889408_n.jpg2017-10-21

ARTE E CULTURA

Uche MaduagwuUche Maduagwu2017-10-21God will punish all those insulting Buhari... Look at where Nigeria was four years ago,🔥 and look at the development this administration has achieved in terms of security.🚓 For the first time in the history of this country, The Nigerian Police Force has become more equipped, and citizen friendly... before, when any police officer treats Nigerians unfairly, nobody calls such an officer to order, because of the high level of corruption,💰💰 but today, within hours, a officer who fails to carry out his duties is being dealt with by the force. Today, you hardly hear of any successful robbery attacks, or civil unrest in Nigeria because our Police Force are now fully protecting our streets, property, and lives, of course we know there will still be some bad eggs, but the Buhari administration is not joking with the security of Nigerians too. repostinstagramnollywoodsharepostnaijapicslagosabujablogregrannpagegoodfollowlikeshttps://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/22639556_2000801590204753_2899069033213067264_n.jpg2017-10-21
