http://instatbt.com/Place/petty-harbour-newfoundland-and-labrador/252072813Petty Harbour, Newfoundland and LabradorI thought this fisherman was laying out salted cod to dry so I went over to have a closer look. Leo,the fisherman, hunter and holiday cod jigging guide and I had a grand chat. I learnt that his 3 English Setters absolutely loved drier cod skins which is what Leo was laying down , covering with wire and,to keep the hungry seagulls away, a white Dexteresque overall to act as scarecrow. After this process was done he showed me his shed where he ground the left over fish bits to rid them of their dangerous fine bones so that he could cook them up for another treat for the lucky setters. There is also a shot of what a truck front looks like when you hit a moose! Poor Leo had this misfortune the previous evening shortly after sundown. A Particularly dangerous time for moose crossing. No insurance cover this and he was obviously miffed that Newfoundland is the only Canadian Province not to allow you to take home your road kill. Poor creatures land up in a landfill. We touched on some politics etc and I took his card for a bit of fresh cod in the future. I think I’ll pass on the dried skins.😀

StoryRunnersStoryRunners2017-10-19How has storying changed your life? "God has used these stories to cultivate my patience in me and through me. I’ve seen God has been putting young men and women in front of me"… "Yesterday we went out and told them this might be the last time (because we are going back to our village) but they said, "No, we want to start this every week and they said they are available on Wednesdays at 5pm."' So we are going to start a story group with these young people.” How about you? How has oral Bible storying changed your life? Michelangelo RochaMichelangelo Rocha2017-10-19When I don't know what to draw I always draw my main character. I was sitting at a cafe and thought it would be amusing if an old lady was describing a bloody scene to her grandchildren or something. It was a quick idea and I'll probably polish the thought for my comic on a later date.
cinthyacinthya2017-10-19I'm really excited for Halloween. It's my favorite holiday. The reason being it's the only holiday I really enjoyed as a child. I never enjoyed Christmas. Gifts gave me anxiety. Crazy right? I just didn't like receiving them, especially because we were poor. I didn't like my mom spending unnecessary money on me.
Yes, I put those bats there on purpose.
