I hear women often say “I wish my shoulders were more defined and shaped.” Lateral raises can help with that! Notice how my dumbbells are coming upwards. I am putting my pinky’s up, like I am pouring that OJ into my cup in the morning. This helps focus on that medial side of that delt. Workout 2 is set up so hit the front delts. You have two options on these. Go half way up and get that half rep, or fully extend those elbow and get the full contraction at the top. 4 sets of these with 1 minute of recovery time in between sets will do it 😊

Tequila LopezTequila Lopez2017-10-20Iyde had a half a day today and a parent teacher conference. Iyde is above her grade reading level and reading at a 4th grade level as well as above average for math. What should take most kids at least 40 minutes she finishes in less then half the time. The second she gets her homework and gets home she sits up at the table she finishes the entire weeks pack worth so she doesn’t have any for the rest of the week. I’m going to boast a little because iydes has struggled through out the years in school. Getting teased, picked on and bullied but it’s like once she’s in class she shuts everything out and doesn’t let it get to her. And she still comes out with a positive attitude and so happy. And today seeing her so happy and to hear she’s doing above and beyond. Makes me so proud. I’m always instilling in her head how important her education is and how she can do anything she sets her mind to. And although she says she knows “mom” and rolls her eyes at me. She excels and Exceeds her own expectations every time. Challenging herself and her own goals. So as a parent and mom the only thing I ask of her is to just try and do her best. ❤️

Despite that I love me some Harry Potter⚡️ and Lord of the Rings🌋, my choice would actually be Levin Thumps: The Gateway to Foo✨ by Obert Skye or The Warrior Heir⚔️ by Cinda Williams Chima. They are my favorite magical escapes to this day, and maybe they could be sanctuaries for someone else too. I remember tearing through the Heir series eager for more magic and heroism, and sitting on the bed in my sister’s childhood room reading the Levin Thumps series out loud to her, laughing and crying together as we easily became deeply invested in the storylines book after book.
I’m currently reading “The Eye of Minds” by James Dashner (the guy who wrote the Maze Runner Series). It’s probably the 5th time I’ve restarted reading it, because I keep misplacing it midway through and forget where I left off, but I’m determined to get through it! What’s your current read?
