With the glutes(ass) being the biggest muscle group in your body it's essential for both males and females to work these properly and effectively. For females it's typically for aesthetics and wanting their glutes to look a certain way...for guys you really should be doing at least a few exercises to focus on them too. Building more muscle in your glutes will lead to an overall higher muscle mass % which can in the long run help you burn more fat. Alongside this specific glute exercises should be a massive focus for athletes. With the majority of sports demanding a lot of hip extension (sprinting and jumping) it's essential that you get the glutes firing properly.

I contacted vivobarefoot when I stubbled upon their shoes a couple of months ago. A few years back I used to run a fair bit - enough to give myself some major injuries and ever since haven't really caught the running bug again. I'm ok with that as it's enabled me find other ways to train that I love - but it made me think that conventional shoes might have been the cause of my running issues. *** have you not read 'Born to Run'?!*** 😮
Determined to give running another go and to help strengthen my feet, I've turned to these barefoot runners. It's going to take a while to get used to them as running in them is completely different to running in anything else! But so far so good! .
What I love the most is being able to do yoga in them too, as they grip more than if you were barefoot on the mat alone. They also allow for a great feel meaning you can balance and flex as though you weren't wearing anything. So going from the treadmill to the mat has never felt better - I don't even need to take them off! 🏃♀️👣🙏🏼🙌🏼.

My squishy bits and imperfect areas, the parts that wobble and I've been feeling super crappy and frumpy and gross. I know this is normal but I've really let the way I've felt about myself get me down. So I've decided to list the things I actually like about myself and my body. To perk me up and pull me out if this grump. So, *My hair. It's thick and fluffy and soft and long. *My butt. I just like it, it looks good in jeans okay? *My strength. I'm actually a lot stronger than I look and I like that I can surprise people with it. *My glasses. Okay technically they're not 'me' but I just really freaking like them. *My tattoos. Come on, colourful skin is just cool. *My legs. I used to get upset at losing my thigh gap but they touch and rub and they help me lift heavy shit and they feel strong. *I'm healthy, strong, happy and perfectly average.
