J.A.F ®J.A.F ®2017-10-21Taken this from benherath - As a designer at adidas, one of the things I am most proud of is how our company invests in innovation. Speed Factory is a great example of the commitment adidas has to innovation by finding entirely new ways of manufacturing footwear. Speed Factory is located in Germany and guided by robots, allowing footwear manufacturing to be driven by data, super fast and super precise. Every step of this project meant reinventing a new way of working and a new way of designing. It is the result of an incredible team effort including working hand in hand with a group of runners in London to design a perfect running shoe to commute through London's busy city streets. I am proud to be part of this inspiring project. The list is long of people who helped move this project forward and a big congratulations to all especially Zach Coonrod, Ulisse Tanzini, Fabio Villa, Thomas Rittmann, Dave Drury, Jan Hill, Gerd Manz and Anders Christoffersen.
