Been a really stressful week.
Some dude wanted to kill me for filming in the gym, had midterms and worst of all fucked over a friend who was trying to help me out. But hey you Live and Learn 🙃, shit already happened, you can’t change the past 🤷♂️. Best thing to do is try to move forward.
Anyways enough of the sorrow ass bullshit. For the first time in months I decided to workout in the evening. Got to catch up with a few friends and honestly had a great time lifting and messing around with you guys( vphamzlayersofinfinityjgplata_joeylee923guccibhinderkati9lee). NGL y’all really cheered me up 😂
Was going to go for 315 front squat this week but I couldn’t even break 295(which I successfully hit last week.) Oh well at least managed to do a few sets of flat dumbbells with the 90 lbs. Really couldn’t have done it without the godly spotters ( oluwagbenga33jacobernal)
oOshemoveoOshemove2017-10-20Resistance bands 😍 are such a great investment. I use them to for both workouts and STRETCHING! They give me good feedback as to how much range my muscles have around joints and provide passive assistance to help me improve my mobility.
This vid has been sped up for short attention spans but this stretch sequence should take you anywhere btwn 2-5 mins to complete.
Oo Cues 👊🏾 ASSISTED HAMSTRING STRETCH
💡Start by lying on the floor.. on a mat or some firm cushions.
💡Use a fairly light and stretchy band to allow for small increases in range.
💡Wrap around the bottom of one foot, flex the toes and pull your shin towards you.
💡Feel a pull on the back of the thigh (should be a stretch not a strain - so don’t go crazy 😜).
💡Hold for ~60 seconds and release. Try a more few times and you should find some creep in your range.
ASSISTED ADDUCTOR (inner thigh) STRETCH
💡Grab the band in one hand and gain a tight grip on it.
💡Lower the banded leg to the floor a wide angle.
💡 Keep your opposite hip flat to the floor when lowering. :
✔️Can help with low back pain relief.
✔️Recovery post leg day.
✔️ If you sit or play sports frequently, Your adductors tend to be fire often day to pull thighs inward. It’s a good a idea to stretch these out to free your hips. :

Full disclaimer that I give full respect and power to women who choose to undergo surgeries and whatnot. You do you! That's totally cool too. 😎
It kills ☠ me when people make themselves unhappy by being jealous of other people. 😔 You have no idea how many hours people put in at the gym to look a certain way. 🏋 Or what their diet looks like. 🍏 Or even their genetic makeup. 👨👩👧👦 Even if you copy them step by step, you will NOT get the exact same results because everyones' bodies respond differently to stimuli!
I don't lift to impress people or to be "skinny" (GOD FORBID 😩). I lift to be a strong 🍑 TANK and if any car ever flips over I can be that heroic stranger who lifts the damn car off the dog or whatever. (Also to out-bro the gym bros.)
This has been a rant but I want to say: you're STUCK with your body. Learn to love what you have and don't give a flipping flack what other people look like. What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree? Let me know! 💪👊💕
