I’m tired of apologizing for existing
I’m tired of being scared to leave the house
I’m tired of trying to justify my feelings and experiences
I’m tired of spending time I could be using on important tasks obsessing about my body and weight
I’m tired of being something that society is more terrified of than almost anything else
I’m tired of children knowing that fat is one of the worst things you can be
I’m tired of fighting for marginalized bodies
I’m just really, really tired

Eating what I want and enjoying time with friends.
We came to the conclusion tonight that the root of almost all problems in the world comes down the fear of feelings. Substance abuse, eating disorders, sex addiction, etc. all come from a fear of feeling feels and vulnerability. The way to fix it? So address the shittiest and most painful parts of ourselves and push through. We can only cure a fear of something by doing the opposite and experiencing it.
You don’t have to be great. We’re not asking for that. But trying and pushing yourself through discomfort is an amazing step. 💕
Here’s your friendly reminder that if you eat something and you feel guilty about it you’re not weird. You’re not broken. You’re making progress. Don’t judge your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20. https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/23668446_370763256699902_5230781540983635968_n.jpg2017-11-18

Motivational NinjaMotivational Ninja2017-11-18I know it can feel like our world is going in the wrong direction...many days, and for very good reason, I feel that too.
However, after spending 2.5 days with these incredible incredible incredible humans I have hope that our future is in good hands.

Tasha DTasha D2017-11-18Today I woke up and just did not want to get out of bed. I was sad but didn't know why and just felt completely overwhelmed. My boyfriend was asking what's wrong and I honestly didn't have an answer. As down as I was feeling it took EVERYTHING in me to get out of bed. I got myself together, threw on some make up and got out the house. Turns out today was an alright day. Some days are harder than others but in the end you control your happiness! motivationmentalhealthhappinesspushthroughmentalstrengthbetteryoubehappysmilehealthylifestylehealthyroadtohappyhttps://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/23596218_136126553824533_7791718879998246912_n.jpg2017-11-18

Today’s half marathon with laceuprunning was tough. Each mile I ran, there was a hill or incline.
I thought back to how I felt running SF. I was determined to not let the course break me down mentally like I did before.
I did the best I could and finished strong.
Stay tuned for my next blog post on my review of the race and inspiration during challenging times.
