Who's ready to have a BOOTYIFUL day 😉(see what I did thereee. Always keepin it🧀y lolz). ANYWAYZZZ, here are my top 3 exercises for booty BUILDING💪🏻. If done right and consistently with proper nutrition, you will put some serious mass on dat🍑!
1️⃣ Sumo Deadlifts - Take a wide stance and point your toes slightly out. Make sure to to push through your heels and the outer parts of your foot (not your back) to really get that posterior chain involvement. If done right this is not the cutest looking exercise lol, but issa good one so we do it anyway!!!
💗 S.S. - I like to SS sumos with this lighter banded kettlebell stiff leg deadlift. Again really pushing from the heels and using your glutes to anchor you up!
2️⃣ Barbell Hipthrusts - This is an obvious one and probably the number 1 glute building exercise! 💗S.S. - I usually SS w/ these seated banded abductions. Got this from the glute god himself bretcontreras1 ! If you aren’t familiar w/ his work you should definitely check it out as it has helped me tremendously this past year!
3️⃣ Bulgarian Split Squats - Man I hate these but I do them at least twice a week cuz they really are such a great exercise. I find more glute involvement when I take a wider stance and lean slightly forward. Play around w/ your foot positioning here though and see what feels better for you as everyone’s body is different! •
Sets and reps vary, some days you may want to test your strength (which I suggest) and go heavier in the 4-8 rep range and then other days you can keep it in the more hypertrophy range of 8-15!
