Following up to one of my previous posts about doing a “real” crow vs “not really” crow (lol) here r some of my favourite ways to prepare for this pose. [apparently, some people’s panties were in a bunch when I called it “not really crow”. That’s my bad I probably should’ve called it crow variation or stepping stone to crow with knees on triceps. But if you read my caption, I did say it was a variation and that it is better than not even trying at all. HOWEVER, the next progression teaches you to use more of your core, learn to get lighter on the arms and hands, and improves your flexibility too! In my own personal teachings and practice, I’ve taken pretty much all of my students, in all shapes, sizes, gender and age, straight to the “knee tricep” crow by using these exercises to prep. So now I may be bragging how UN-YOGA of me lol. Chill out, have fun it’s instagram] . .

Even if crow isn’t something that interests you, these warm ups can benefit u in more ways than one: wake up the core, serrated anterior, hamstrings, mobilize the wrists, shoulders, spine and hips, and improve your posture and breathing! .
