Great workout (back hypertrophy), shitty aftermath lol. I smashed my phone and the front facing camera is sorta jeopardized. And all my friends know just how much i use my front facing camera as opposed to the rear LOL
My strength definitely jumped up today. A lot of my weight progressed quicker than i expected. I also did snatches for fun because today was an off day. I hit 115 relatively easy on the snatch with no warmup! Super excited bc i think ill be able to hit my 135 end of the year snatch goal.
My back strength discrepancy was apparent with v grip pulldowns but i can tell improvement is coming. Mind muscle connection is more in tune this workout.
On another note, my mood immediately after my workout took a toll because i took time to reflect on my recent failures and insecurities. Fuck man, shit got real depressing real quick but i know eventually it will all fall into place.

Practicing the technique for Olympic lifts has given me more scars and bruises than when I was a kid. It’s been so much fun and I hope to continue learning more and more. Oh, by the way, a little fun fact about myself: did you know that I grew in Mexico until I was 10? I didn’t actually learn English until high school. My accent is still noticeable at times, usually when I’m tired. Anyway, if you already knew that, I bet you didn’t know that me and my friends burned a soccer field when I was a kid in Mexico. I was younger than 8, so I was forgiven automatically, 😂...🤔. Anyway, happy Monday y’all! May your week be as lit as the soccer field I burned.🔥🔥
