Cooking spray, for pan
1 box brownie mix, plus ingredients called for on box
1/3 c. maple syrup
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
3 1/2 c. whole or chopped pecans
1. Preheat oven to 350° and line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Prepare brownies according to recipe on box. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, make the pecan filling. In a medium bowl, whisk together maple syrup, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, butter and salt until smooth. Fold in pecans, stirring until they are fully coated in the mixture.
3. When brownies have cooked for 25 minutes, remove from oven and top with pecan topping,spreading evenly across the surface of the brownies. Return to the oven and bake 25-30 more minutes, until the pecan mixture is set. 988423698842362018-10-23With my renewed intent to feed life to myself and my girls one choice and one meal at a time, I’ve slacked off on posting. Here are a few of our JERFrealfood adventures over the last week.
First up: homemade mayo. Have you priced the brands of high quality mayonnaise like Sir Kensington and Primal? They are unrealistic for this mamasolo to swing, but that doesn't mean I have to compromise quality or nutrition just because my budget is squeaky. This recipe consists only of one XL poastured egg, 1 cup of oil (I used 3 parts avocado 1/2 part macadamia nut oil 1/2 part EVOO), the juice of half of a lemon, a healthy sprinkle of salt, a healthy sprinkle of cracked pepper. Throw In a jar and magic! AH-MAZING. Its also ketopaleoNOMNOMwhole30
Next: That luscious, lemony mayo was the dressing for a decadent tuna salad. I like lots of ‘stuff’ in my tuna salad. This time around, it was tiny diced bubbies bread ‘n butter Pickles, diced celery, diced gala apples, tiny cut onion chives, and naturalgrocers pecan pieces mixed into wildplanetfoods tuna. It would not have been complete without boiled eggs on top. We smacked this goodness into Romaine lettuce leaves and, like my PaMa used to say, in her southern-colloquial way, it’s so good it’ll make Your tongue slap your brains out 😜
Finally: A good soup, in my opinion, is all about layering flavors. I didn’t even have my standard, base, soup ingredients, but I still managed to layer the flavors that I had on hand to make a comforting, nourishing and hearty cabbage soup. Don’t knock a cabbage soup til you’ve tried it. It’s affordable, better leftover than fresh, and pairs amazingly with the Irish soda bread we love so Much. ***Bonus flavor: tomatoes confit. I happened to have a jar of these gems that I slow roasted with garlic, EVOO, rosemary, salt & pepper in the fridge. I plopped a few spoonfuls in and BAM!...it was just the final layer of flavor to send this soup over the top.

As a bonus you'll also be feeding your body what it needs to grow some lean muscle and increase your daily calorie burn. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ☕️Black coffee can blunt your hunger too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💧Water is vital for your body and i am always shocked to hear from people that they don't actually drink water through the day. We are made up of water and not drinking it can have all kinds of negative side effects. Try starting your day with at least 1 glass of water to rehydrate. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Wholemeal carbs and oats take longer to digest than their white alternatives and so the energy is drip fed into your body. This keeps your blood sugar levels low which is great for long term health and will power you through to lunch! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Enjoy breakfast with these smarter options 👍

Changing your habits to ensure you only put high quality, nutrient dense ingredients into your body is NOT about denial or restriction. It is about self-love and giving your amazing body the nutrients it needs to thrive, minus the toxic crap from processed foods!

Моё первое впечатление - как будто из обжареных орехов🙈 это просто моя фантазия бурная😀 написано как всегда - холодный отжим. Продается и в Ленте, и в Ашане. Всё, теперь уж нет проблемы, где взять кокосовое масло на еду, даже в нашем небольшом городе.
