1835617191835617192018-09-24Jayde has had to wear a leg brace ever since she could walk and I’ve never once put her on any shorts or skirts to school just trying to avoid other kids from looking at her funny and asking a million questions but today that’s changed 😍🙌🏽 Teaching her to embrace everything about her now while she’s young ❤️ My baby loves her skirt & her brace 😌 preemiebaby23weekerfamilynicumommylifetoddlerloveproudmamapreemiepreemiepowermiraclebabyourlittlepreemiedaughterbeautifulhttps://scontent-ams3-1.cdninstagram.com/vp/a9b8abaa4befce65a3ac25351ceecc89/5C5D3BD3/t51.2885-15/e35/41392421_299571840774148_2873117312378282733_n.jpg2018-09-24

I got to meet my niece today. Asking for continued prayers. There has been a complication & we need lots of prayers. https://scontent-ams3-1.cdninstagram.com/vp/a0e6e5915e9a3b5ccbdf5d26c51bf3d3/5C5CFEDD/t51.2885-15/e35/41761940_1814434992003475_1524992551169794612_n.jpg2018-09-24

899671623189967162312018-09-24Creed was born 9/5/2018. He was 3lbs and 13.5 inches long. He was 31.5 weeks gestation.
NICU Graduation Day
213 days after she was born at 23 weeks & 3 days gestation, this little chubbers officially graduated from the NICU. .
I was a ball of nerves that day, everything seemed to move in slow motion. I'd waited 7 long months to have her home, and yet that day felt like the longest of my life. She seemed pretty over the NICU that day, too. She was cranky and wouldn't sit still for any pictures but finally fell asleep just before she was discharged. Go figure!
It almost didn't feel real as we walked out. I just kinda said a "see ya later" to the nurses like I always did, not realizing I wouldn't be back the next day as I had been for the past 7 months. Hard to break old habits, right? .
But walking her out of those NICU doors to an unsuspecting big brother and sister was the best part. Mackayla seemed stunned and lost for words. And Matty was so excited. I'll never forget the looks on their faces when they saw her. .
And seriously, how cute is the cap and gown one of her primary nurses (and the nurse who discharged us) zitosl made for her?? How fitting that her gown was made from an isolation gown which became every day wear for us since just about 2 weeks after she was born. I grew to hate those gowns, creating yet another barrier between us, yet that day I absolutely loved them! preemiepreemiebabyprematurityawarenesspreemiepowerpreemiestrongpreemielovenicuawarenessnicuawarenessmonthnicujourneynicumomnicudadnicunursenicurollercoasterpreemiepowernicujourneynicumompreemiebabypreemiestrongpreemielovefromminitomoosehttps://scontent-ams3-1.cdninstagram.com/vp/82bd33363eeea71ec228efd646a9a5bf/5C2DA1BB/t51.2885-15/e35/41581672_2147738038591042_2906469311932194227_n.jpg2018-09-23
