It’s nanaschewitz !!
Nana Schewitz, the fully circumcised yet not-so-kosher Jewish star, thumps it and bumps it in her traditional Jeudeo-Centennial style. Fusing diabolical guilt with legendary comedy, Nana is sure to have you clutching your chai's as she force feeds youher world-renowned matzo ball soup.

2265410992265410992018-10-21Persistence. Seeing this picture from Pumpkinfest yesterday seems so unreal. 4-5 years ago when I started this musical journey at Open Mic, I had no idea what kind of places it would take me. I have met and worked with incredible musicians, traveled to some cool places, met and married my husband, learned how to play an instrument, and gotten to the point where I feel completely at home while on stage. It hasn't been easy by any means. There have been plenty on NO's and roadblocks...and MANY times that I have contemplated giving up. There have been plenty of times that I have felt like a failure. But every NO, and every failure has led me to work harder to become better at doing what I love. I may have not been happy about the NO's when they were happening, but I sure am grateful for them now!
565482376956548237692018-10-21Warning up my voice singing along with Doris Day this early Sunday morning,, for choir. This is a favourite song. It is so much easier to practice singing along with "old school" voices as the stellar vocalists of the past ( and my youth and that of my parents adulthood are called now), for they could truly carry a tune, be understood, and SING lyrics that enchanted and spoke of tenderness, rather than disfunctions.
