Mosaic Church CoventryMosaic Church Coventry2017-11-21"When we step beyond being an observer, we begin to fall into the Father's arms for ourselves - this is destiny - this is what it means to actually be led by the Spirit of God. Where is the Spirit leading you? Into the Father's arms. And only then can we begin to be restored to maturity - something that God does in us; it's not something we can do for ourselves."

https://instatbt.com/Place/coventry-united-kingdom/222003692Coventry, United KingdomClothesbank: One of the awesome missions we have running under Mosaic Church.
We got to chat to Dee ^ about some of the challenges Clothesbank faces, as well as the impact they've been able to have in Coventry and beyond.
Clothesbank are always on the lookout for new, passionate volunteers! If you're looking to be part of something bigger, looking to serve the awesome city of Coventry in some way - check the link in the bio -> for more info!
Mosaic Church CoventryMosaic Church Coventry2017-11-08Another great mission! Little Pieces is the brainchild of Viv Kibble, and along with a great team of volunteers has become an amazing channel of outreach for Mosaic Church. Here, mums and tots of every colour, creed and religion spend time meeting and chatting together while their little ones play and make friends. The beauty of Little Pieces is that no matter who you are, or your background, there is a place for you and your child to find friendship, advice, and maybe even meet Jesus! -
Mosaic Church CoventryMosaic Church Coventry2017-11-07"My name is Stuart, I'm a driver for Coventry Foodbank, but I've also worked as a bricklayer, window installer, and an undertaker (!!). The people at The Hope Centre, Mosaic and Foodbank changed my life - I'm in a different place because of them." More great Missions Sunday stories to come! -

Mosaic Church CoventryMosaic Church Coventry2017-10-21"Amazing grace, how sweet the sound, that saved a wretch like me.." We were blind, unfamiliar with the TRUE, amazing, unlimited grace of God our Father, but through the story of the gospel and Jesus's death, we can see grace in its purest form.
Mosaic Church CoventryMosaic Church Coventry2017-10-17Cherished Hearts is part of our mission & outreach at Mosaic Church, and the women of Cherished Hearts have been hard at work creating Christmas gifts and ornaments which will be for sale at the next "Missions Sunday" - they're jumpstarting all those Christmassy feels 🎄☃️🎁

Mosaic Church CoventryMosaic Church Coventry2017-10-08Gary Spicer and our guest today, Darren Armstrong. "I am 39 years old, I have 5 children and I live in Bolton, I'm an ex-offender, ex-drug addict, ex-drug dealer, ex-womaniser, ex-woman beater, ex-steroid abuser, ex-hater of society, and was a very violent, angry individual and was hated by lots of people. I am none of those things now - and I want to be part of the process that helps people to change their mindsets and behaviours. This is the reason why I have put the 'Be Strong' project together." This Sunday we had a special Interview with Darren Armstrong from the amazing Bolton charity "Be Strong". Darren has an incredible story of being transformed from living with the heart of a prodigal to finding his place in the Father's house.

Mosaic Church CoventryMosaic Church Coventry2017-09-25"My name is Jahangir, or Jay for short. I'm 13 years old and I live with my mum and younger brother Shahkabir. I was born in Pakistan to a Muslim family - I have blocked out a lot of memories of my earlier years, because they were very unhappy.
I grew up believing that Allah was the only god, and that if you do wrong he will punish you and you will go to hell when you die.
My mom brought us to England to start a new life away from Pakistan, and that’s when my life changed. First we lived in London with my auntie and uncle, and then we had to come to Coventry.
We found Hillfields Baptist first, and we joined their kids’ clubs and started going to church there on Monday nights. People were friendly and they wanted to welcome us in. My mama became a Christian, and since then always focused on praying about all the things we did in our house. I knew there was a God, but struggled to feel connection with Him. One night my mama told us that we all might have to go back to home to Pakistan, and we will never live like a family again. I feared our father will kill my mama and I felt so afraid. Our happy life and future all depended on the outcome of a court hearing. That night I cried and asked the unknown God to help us, and HE DID. It was a miracle.
At the beginning of this year, I started coming to Mosaic Identity Youth with my friend Rhys, and going to Mosaic Church on Sundays. In August I went to Soul Survivor with the Mosaic youth group. During my time there, a speaker said something that really impacted me, and I started crying and crying. I felt the weight of God’s love and I found myself asking for forgiveness. The speaker called anyone to the stage who wanted to be born again, and I went up. Hundreds of people gathered around me and prayed. It was incredible. I cannot explain the feelings I felt, but I realised that the best friend in this life and afterlife is only the Lord Jesus Christ.
When Dave announced the baptism service, I wanted my name put forward , the last step was to get baptised officially. I no longer feel scared of losing friends, because I know that my Christian family is eternal, and I have the ultimate best friend in Jesus Christ." https://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/21980382_984934718313671_4676516277722808320_n.jpg2017-09-25

Mosaic Church CoventryMosaic Church Coventry2017-09-21Let's pray for breakthrough for our friends and family members! We all know someone who could use more of Christ's love and God's grace in their lives, so let's pray for breakthrough in this area. Who knows what could happen?!
Mosaic Church CoventryMosaic Church Coventry2017-09-19"My name is Shahkabir Syed, I am ten years old and I live with my Mother and older brother Jahangir in Coventry. I was born in Pakistan, into a Muslim family. I don't like talking about my early childhood much because it wasn't very nice. My father was not very kind to us, which is why my mother decided to bring us to England.
Before I used to believe in Allah, and that if I wasn't good I would be punished.
We still followed the Muslim faith when we moved to London, it was only after we
moved to Coventry that our journey really started. First we came across Hillfields Evangelical Baptist Church. We discovered that they offered a children’s club called “Young Explorers”, and we started going to church on Monday evenings so that my brother and I could attend the kid’s club. We found the Hope Centre, the Mosaic Identity youth group, and we met such kind people that we kept going back.
At church and youth I was able to hear God’s word and the gospel, and the more I heard and read about Jesus, the more my faith increased, and the more I grew to love God, His people, and His word.
This is why I wanted to get baptised - so that I could follow the Lord Jesus, who is my saviour, my father, and my friend." mosaicstoriesPrayertemberbaptismtestimonyTuesdaymosaicchurchhttps://scontent.cdninstagram.com/t51.2885-15/e35/21690511_1559849730759636_4679412636163506176_n.jpg2017-09-19
